The Black Artisans Project was series of pieces produced by Jo Sealy, a photographer based in Waltham Forest. The motive behind interviewing the artists from around the UK was to provide a unique look into their craft, from their perspective as black creatives. It was intriguing to find similarities and differences within my own experience as a young black creative. The scheme later culminated in a collaborative exhibition, hosted at (......). I was introduced to Jo through a previous project about the Windrush titled 'We Are Here'. As part of this project I captured A cam and B - roll of the interviews and event which took place in September 2021.
